Some are more financially profitable and some are frowned upon, most aren't even noticed by society, but they're there. We have to find them and use them for good. I guess I just keep seeing over and over that, just as the loud-mouth "I can drink more than you" party guy in college was often the first to pass out, the people who claim to be smartest are almost never the smart ones. Know what I mean?

P.S. Don't sell yourself short; I'm finding today's younger job seekers are terrible at face-to-face communications, and thankfully that does still seem to be a valuable commodity... at least until the faceless Facebook crowd is leading the career charge and doing the hiring. Then? I'm screwed.Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01886668831972641673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7663468186545705233.post-71821500820016499012011-05-05T12:09:31.432-04:002011-05-05T12:09:31.432-04:00Mel: I feel like a moron on pretty much a daily ba...Mel: I feel like a moron on pretty much a daily basis. I graduated in the top 10 percent of my high school class, and some students there thought I was so smart. Well, compared to them, sure. But to the rest of the world? Yeah, not really.

As I continue not to find a job and apply for very few because I am just not qualified, this lack of smarts becomes painfully obvious.

Just be glad you are so talented in the art world and can budget and organize better than most. Me? I am pretty childish, so I guess I will find some comfort in that. :-)Faciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12165861407055831754noreply@blogger.com
